This Diet Specialist diploma builds on the three pillars of nutrition which include understanding food and nutrients, translating these concepts into healthy eating practices and then using this knowledge to effect change in others both on an individual and group level. The course also covers specialist areas including plant-based diets, low fat/carb diets, religious groups, sport groups and children and infant’s diets across their phases of development. Diets and disease are also covered in this course which include disorders of the stomach, diabetes, coronary heart disease, hypertension, osteoporosis, food allergies and intolerances.

The course will equip you with the knowledge required to advise others in a range of settings, including gyms, health shops and schools, in group sessions or on a one-to-one basis.
