Senior Nutritionist

Reporting to the Head of Health, Nutrition and Sustainable Diets your role will be to contribute to delivering the M&S Health Strategy in line with health policies and category transformation plans. Your knowledge and experience will help the Food team make the right decisions, address key health challenges, and identify new ways to improve health for our customers.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Support in the delivery and programme management of the Health strategy
  • Support PDs and Techs to develop products with strong Eat Well health credentials and deliver against Better Choices, Gut Health, High Protein and future health brands
  • Influence and provide nutritional support to PR and Marketing to upweight health communications to customers
  • Develop and implement Nutrition Policies and Guidelines and provide the support and training required to embed them
  • Work with data to monitor business progress against KPIs

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Significant nutrition experience ideally in the Retail sector
  • Professional qualification and in-depth knowledge of Health and Nutrition
  • Ability to translate science-based information for a wider audience
  • Flexibility, open-mindedness and adaptability to find solutions to challenges in a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment
  • Effective partner management – internal, including senior leadership, and external

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract / secondment
