RaisingNutrition Trainer
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive registered Nutritionist with the ability to work flexibly, providing a small number of hours of support initially to support our company in its growth. To begin with this is anticipated to be 5-6 hours a week working-at-home, with the occasional full or half-day supporting face-to-face workshops across the UK.
We hope there will be scope potentially for these hours and responsibilities to develop as the company grows. Initially we are looking for someone to support the development and delivery of our training services, and developing nutrition-focused educational content for RaisingNutrition and its stakeholders. There will also be the potential to support our accreditation services and work on a variety of projects that align with our innovative mission, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results that have a positive social impact.
Responsibilities
● Support the delivery of existing nutrition and food related training programmes for a variety of audiences
● Contribute to the development of new nutrition and food related services, including training courses, webinars and digital/online resources
● Collaborate with stakeholders and clients, to help develop and deliver workstreams and projects, aligning with the standards and strategic goals of RaisingNutrition
● Conduct thorough research and analysis to support content creation and decision-making processes
● Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualifications or experience) in nutrition or similar discipline
● Registration with the Association for Nutrition (RNutr or ANutr)
● Experience of presenting to large and/or diverse audiences
● Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and information
Preferred:
● Experience in catering, food service, public health or corporate wellbeing would be an advantage
● Experience of teaching or training within a diverse setting would be highly desirable
● Experience in digital communications and/or training would be highly beneficial.
● Due to the need to travel to locations to deliver training occasionally, the ability to drive and have access to a car would be helpful.
Technical and Educational Skills
● Proficiency in using relevant software such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva etc.
● Awareness of responsibilities relating to safeguarding, inclusivity and special educational needs
● Passion for lifelong learning
● Ability to build rapport quickly with a range of audiences
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
● Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

● Opportunities to both work from home and the chance to travel across the UK meeting a variety of organisations and stakeholders. Our two Directors currently work from home, with meetings in London and travel to customers and partners in the SE, the Midlands and further afield.
● Employment terms and structure can be discussed with candidates.
● Hourly rates would be in the range of £15-20 an hour dependent on experience.
● All pre-approved travel expenses to get to meetings and to deliver training would be covered, including mileage at 45p per mile.
