The Role
In this public health role, you will be responsible for delivering weight management programmes for different age groups in the community, integrating a holistic health and wellbeing approach and ensuring quality. As well as delivering group education sessions yourself, you will have some line management responsibilities – co-ordinating a small team providing project support and making sure sessions are staffed. You will work with multidisciplinary public health teams to provide a whole systems approach. You will build relationships with organisations and stakeholders and other partners to help improve health inequalities in the area.
Why It’s Great
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter ready to take the next step in their career. In this role you will use your skills to really help people within the community and enable long-term positive behaviour change.
