Nutrition Analyst

Position Summary

Here at Nestle we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our Nutrition, Health & Wellness team (NHW) as a Nutrition Analyst. This is an amazing opportunity where you will be supporting the management of our nutrition product information across our internal systems. This will include facilitating monitoring and reporting and ensuring easy accessibility both internally and externally. You will also be anaalysing recipes and ensuring they are nutritionally responsible and working on product approval and employee wellness.

A day in the life of a Nutrition Analyst…

You will play a pivotal role in leading nutrition analysis, benchmarking and assisting with nutrition related communications and pack approvals, working closely with a range of different teams including Marketing, Regulatory and Public Affairs. You will also work with our Occupational Health teams in areas such as our Employee Wellness Programme. You will also:

 

  • Conduct nutritional assessment of Nestlé products to benchmark against existing recipes, competitive landscape and nutritional targets. Use this information to feed into product briefs and recipes.
  • Support Company Nutritionist and work cross functionally with Product Information teams to improve Nestlé Data Quality and availability in various systems.
  • Support stakeholders across the business to understand the relevance of the HFSS legislation for their specific activities and embed data and processes to ensure that this information is readily available for customers.
  • Be responsible for maintaining key NHW production information and sharing it with customers via their preferred platforms e.g. Brandbank and supporting with sales requests.
  • Ensure responsible and accurate nutrition information is available on company websites and communications.
  • Conduct recipe analysis and liaising with marketing teams, chefs and content developers to ensure recipes meet UK guidelines.
  • Drive Company Wellness by acting as a Wellness Champion for Group Marketing, liaising with catering teams, creating resources to be shared with the business, presenting at key meetings, writing newsletters and organising and supporting at internal events.

What will make you successful

To be successful in this role you will be a graduate that has completed an Association of Nutrition (AfN) Accredited Degree Programme or Food Science degree that includes Nutrition. You should have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and be computer literate, with an excellent knowledge of excel. You should have clear written and oral communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a broader team and be able to demonstrate initiative, agility and self-motivation.

You should be passionate about nutrition, health and wellness and be highly curious about external trends, public health policies and the evolving health landscape. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Previous experience such as having undertaken an industrial placement or internship is desirable.
