Exciting Nutritionist opportunity (maternity leave cover)

Thorpe House Specialist Adult Mental Health Unit Ltd. is looking for either a final year Nutritionist student or Registered Associate Nutritionist to cover 9+ months for maternity leave. This would be the ideal development opportunity for an individual looking to develop their Nutrition and management skills whilst working in a dynamic and fun environment.

Thorpe House is a specialist mental health unit based in Huddersfield which provides holistic care within a homely environment. The role would involve:

·      Involvement in Nutrition care plans

·      Menu planning

·      Allergen management

·      Staff training on basic Nutrition modules

·      Health promotion with residents

·      Auditing of kitchens

·      General supervision of the kitchen team

Ideally looking for someone local to Huddersfield as the position is on-site and not remote, but will consider applications from further away if the individual is willing to commute.

The successful candidate would be given extensive handover notes and would work a shadowing period with the current Registered Nutritionist to learn the role and build confidence.
