The Principles of nutrition and their application to exercise and health 

This course will help learners to increase their knowledge of healthy eating, analyses their client’s nutritional habits and provide clients with healthy eating advice.

The course will cover the following areas:

  • Accessing credible information about diet and nutrition
  • Understanding the nutrients required for good health.
  • The role of nutrients to fuel and aid recovery from exercise
  • Estimating daily energy and nutrient requirements for a range of goals
  • Risks of poor nutrition
  • Analysing the dietary habits of clients
