Healthy Eating & School Food
This course is AfN certified as suitable for those working or volunteering in a Level 1 role within Catering
Classroom: ISS Staff only
The ISS Healthy Eating & School Food course, certified by the AfN, is a one day course and has been designed for, and is suitable for, anyone who works within ISS Education; we particularly encourage staff working directly in the kitchens, and those who have direct contact with children, to attend this training.
By the end of the course ISS employees will be:
• Aware of healthy eating guidelines.
• Aware individuals may have dietary requirements due to medical, cultural, religious and, or ethical reasons.
• Able to communicate nutrition information to customers & colleagues in an appropriate manner.
• Familiar with food regulations
Please note: This course is only available for ISS Education Employees and not to members of the public
Competencies Covered by Course
A certificate is issued upon completion as proof of attendance and ongoing personal and professional development.
