The Early Start Wellbeing and Nutrition team recognise the importance of ensuring children have the best start in life. Good nutrition and regular physical activity is key in the early years and it is important for children to develop patterns of healthy eating to promote positive attitudes and enjoyment of good food.

Our team of registered nutritionists are based in Newham London. We provide AfN Certified classroom based training for early years practitioners which equips them with the knowledge and confidence to ensure health and nutrition are key priorities in their setting. Our training will also give practitioners the confidence and skills to discuss basic evidence based nutrition information and tips with parents to support the health and wellbeing of their child.

Our tiered training modules allow practitioners to gradually develop their knowledge and build their confidence in promoting key health and wellbeing messages.
