SCOPE is the only international qualification in obesity education for healthcare professionals. It developed out of a European Union obesity summit in 2002 that highlighted a need to improve clinical management of obesity. It is run by the World Obesity Federation, a not-for-profit linking 53 national obesity associations representing 55 countries.

SCOPE Certification is recognised globally as the standard of excellence in obesity prevention and management. Using bite-sized e-learning modules developed by the world’s leading obesity experts, it helps health professionals understand obesity and how to treat, manage and prevent it. SCOPE empowers you to create a customised learning program to improve your patient outcomes and give your career a boost at the same time. Each SCOPE course also provides CPD credits to further your professional development targets.

In addition to e-learning we have held over 50 live training courses in 23 countries. Each event you attend counts towards SCOPE Certification. You can find more information about SCOPE on our website www.worldobesity.org/scope.
