John Waterlow Reading Room
Coming to London for a meeting with time to spare?

Need to catch up on emails before a conference?

Want to meet with another member for an informal chat?

The John Waterlow Reading Room is now ready!  To be launched officially at our AGM on 10th November, you can now use the Reading Room in September and October and test out our facilities – we would welcome your feedback! The Reading Room offers;

-       A fully accessible, comfortable space within a Robert-Adam designed listed building

-       Free wi-fi access

-       Free tea and coffee

-       Meeting table for informal discussion

-       Quiet work area

The John Waterlow Reading Room is available 10am-4pm Monday-Friday year around, apart from bank holidays and from Christmas Eve to New Year’s day inclusive.   When you come to 28 Portland Place please ring the bell marked AfN and take the lift to the second floor where AfN staff will be on hand to greet you and provide assistance if necessary.  Members using the room will be asked to sign in and sign out and we are developing resources, both physical and on-line, for members' use in the Reading Room.
