AfN Registration Officer 

£14,565 pa at 21 hours per week
(£24,275pa full time equivalent)

Part-time - 21hrs/wk
(worked over 3 or 4d/wk - preferably Tues to Fri, or Weds to Fri)

The Registration Officer will support the daily operation of the UKVRN and the Registration Office, providing administrative support to the Registration Manager and Chief Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high degree of accuracy with the data inputted, as this is essential to the smooth running of the Registration Office and of the UKVRN.

 

Duties will include receiving and processing applications to join the UKVRN as well as nominations to AfN Fellowship. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the Association’s bi-annual renewal process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and assisting with administering our CPD endorsement scheme.

 

As the Registration Officer the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for general queries from both registrants and the public about core aspects of the AfN work, including registration, programme accreditation, CPD endorsement and course certification and advising on study and career options for those wishing to work within nutrition. This is an administrative position and therefore a nutrition qualification is not essential for this role, however, an interest in nutrition science and the application of evidence-based science will be helpful.
